Sleep... Beautiful sleep...

As many of you know, I'm in the middle of new pattern frenzy. Here are the new ones that are now in print:

And I'm hoping to have these in print and ready to ship by Monday morning:

The problem, dear friends, is that I'm exhausted. And I don't mean physically exhausted. I'm mentally wiped. And it makes me feel bummed out. But I really don't have anything to be bummed out about. The new patterns are the most popular ever and there's only good to come.

On Tuesday, I was so bouncy with energy that Britt's Mom was laughing at me and making jokes to her friend about how Britt's the quiet one of the bunch. And even this morning, I was so in need of a break that I went out to the other Britt's and mucked stalls for four hours.

But now... stalled. I just feel like I cannot move. And I know I'm not really tired. I'm just... worn out. And miles to go before I sleep. And miles to go before I sleep.

Maybe it's the wholesalers. One got my new patterns announcement, colour coded and clearly labelled "Please do not order from the grey list. These patterns are not available yet." What does she do? Send me a list of grey patterns.

I tell her to go back and re-read the email.

She says, "Oh! My mistake!"... and resends the exact same list.

*throws up hands*

So I spell it out AGAIN! "Please do not order from the grey list. These are there to indicate what will come later this year. You'll notice they don't even have prices on them. Please do not order from the grey list."

She orders fewer patterns from the grey list.

*sighs*

I give up. I'm just going to send her what I can. Maybe I'll make up and order. I don't know...

Then a foreign wholesaler emails me that his customer needs a specific pattern by Saturday. How much will it cost? My reply, "A plane ticket." There's no way I can guarantee that a pattern will get there AND not sit in customs over the weekend. I can't control that. FedEx and DHL and UPS can't control that.

So then I ask him why patterns he doesn't have in stock and was told not to expect until January are on his website for immediate order. Hmmm?

Guess what. The customer ordered patterns from another company. So this guy LIES to a customer and I lose money because of it. Great.

Is it any wonder I feel tired?
