Well, there were angels dancing at the Sheraton Chicago Northwest in any case. =)
For those of you who read regularly, you'll know that Reconstructing History was at Reenactor Fest this past weekend. Reenactor Fest is a wonderful three-day shopping event that's more like a convention than anything. Seminars, entertainments, and of course the parties. Bob, our intrepid "Number Two" Chole, and I threw down in the evenings and guided customers to the right products for their impressions during the day. We sold rope and maps and pottery and of course patterns.
I'd like to thank everyone who came out to see us: our long-time correspondents, our new fans, and those lovely people we're getting used to seeing at every RF. You guys make us feel welcome no matter how far we stray from home. Thanks Kim, Lisa, Sue, Christine, Scott, Kathy, Sharon, Karen, Jess, Michael, Gail and Elliot, Melanie, Betsy, Julie, Stephan, Elena, Becky, Hazel, Chris, Chris, Pip, Matthew, Darren, Patrick, and everyone else who stopped by for a chat.
If you're from Chicagoland and didn't make it out, put the second week of February on your calendars for next year. It's worth it!
